Kahlua Cheesecake with Oreo Crust: Indulgent Delight

Ingredients
  

  • 24 Oreos crushed
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup Kahlua
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Prepare the crust by mixing crushed Oreos and melted butter.
  3. Press the crust mixture into the bottom of a springform pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  4. While the crust cools, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Mix in sour cream, Kahlua, vanilla, and flour until combined.
  7. Pour the filling into the cooled crust.
  8. Bake the cheesecake for 55-60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center slightly jiggles.
  9. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake sit inside for an hour.
  10. Remove from the oven and refrigerate for at least four hours before serving.
